cultural learning through exchange student program

Exchange student program, what comes to mind when we mention this program? Of course the fun activities, busyness and going places. Exchange student program is somehow a thing that every school or university do because of many reasons.

Students study through their environment the most; what they practically do, see and hear. By involving them in exchange students community, students benefited a lot in terms of global knowledge and also self realization.

From I have seen and learnt few days ago when the Korean delegates from Kyung Hee University came was the feeling of anticipated and curiosity that drive students to wanting better understanding about other stuff. They were more anticipated when we did outdoor activity like the Korean students trip to Sunway Lagoon, the traditional food, clothes and the games in Malaysia compare to all the lectures in the class.

The same case goes too everyone.
What can I say is that, students, regardless kindergarten, primary, secondary or even university students need to feel the fun in learning. By bringing them to cultural activity or school field trip, they learn things more precisely, accurately and more realistic. Hands on are activities that could make the student remember better. By learning other people's culture through exchange students program to other country, the activities conducted rather than all the talks and the lectures work far better.

Montesorri method is a method started by an Italian educator, Maria Montesorri. Maria Montesorri had an opinion that children should lern practically instead of spending all their time in classroom.

Montesorri's method involves children to do things on their own like button their shirts, arrange the dishes, tidy their table and buckle their shoe laces.

Children are given a suitable environment for learning seasion. The rooms are specially arrange to how they are going to practice things such as house chores.

One significant thing about the Montesorri method is it brings the students to real life situation and makes them adapt and ready to it. Children will learn basic things and the things they learnt bring benefits to them in term of practicality in life. Most young children nowadays should not be pampered but to be let exposed to what life is.

Classrom's Attention

It is common for us to see students inability to concentrate in class. We experience that too when we were once in school. The inability to concentrate in class leads to lots of problems; bad performance in class during lesson activity, unclear situation in class and many more.

There are many reasons behind this problem. One of them is classroom's environtment. To blunt classroom leads to students' boredom. But too many ornaments and decorations in a classroom will lead to distraction. A classroom should be moderately decorated with an information corner somewhere at the back of the class. A classroom should not be too crowded as it is important to keep the students comfortable during learning lesson.
Another reason to classroom distraction is the whole school environment. A school by the road side is a much noisier school compare to a school far from the main road. Sometimes the noise from cars, construction activities or markets and shops bring intranquility and disturbance to the students and also teachers. Learning lesson should occur in an inviting environment, not too noisy and crowded.

People often make mistakes when comparing preposition to conjunction.
Conjunction joins clauses, phrases, or words in a sentence.

Prepositions link nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence.
eg. "The cat sat ON the table"" The dog was sitting BESIDE the couch"
